Due to a leak on the Internet we got our hands on some information about a new Leica SLR camera. And it not only concerns a new SLR, it includes a brand-new digital photographic system as well, the Leica S-system. The Leica S2 will be the first DSLR camera in the new S-system, boosting 37 Megapixel of resolution.

Leica S2
The sensor used is 56% larger than those used in a 35mm full-frame SLR. With the Leica S2 camera Leica will aim at the top-end professional photographer shooting advertising, fashion and other commercial work. Furthermore, a line-up of nine lenses can be used with the Leica S2 digital SLR. We will keep you informed as soon as new information becomes available.
